We are moving to browser. In EXE we have always accessed our fax inbox and scanned documents from Patient Documents which in EXE has Info and HUB. When you receive a fax you need to be able to know who to assign it to after adding it to the patient record. In Browser Info and HUB doesn’t exist in plug in - only Web mode but the fax inbox isn’t available in Patient Documents - Web Mode. So my front office staff have to have another session of ECW open on their second monitor for this. they have to look up the patient on their other monitor - then go back to the first so they can save and assign the fax/scanned document. How inefficient is that - double the work!! I sometimes feel these upgrades go one step forward and two steps back.
