Kiosk - Cannot Enable Providers in EXE

I was just trying to set up new facilities on Kiosk and received error messages when enabling the providers. It says you need to renew the provider’s license. The workaround it to enable providers in the web version.


eCW Logged in through inactive user accounts

I was looking at out admin user log and noticed a user who hasn’t worked here in 8 months had logged in yesterday. the IP address wasn’t of our network and when I did some more digging this inactive user had logged in over 50 times in the past few months. It also showed our other admin (active user obviously) as logging in with the same IP and he says he didn’t log in yesterday. I personally know the former inactive user and there’s not a chance that person logged in. Anyway, ticket in with eCW and they confirmed the IP was their server and the logins were actually “glitches” to which they would apply a “patch”. I wasn’t really expecting much more of an answer.

Has anyone else had this happen? Maybe some of the cloud users here should go check your user logs for anything out of the ordinary.

out of office setting and redirecting labs

If a provider marks themselves out of office, is there a way to automatically assign their lab results to another provider?

We are looking for a solution for time sensitive lab results that might not be called by the lab to the on call provider.  The issue doesn’t come up when providers are on vacation (in that situation another provider checks the provider’s jellybeans daily) but rather over the weekend or when a provider only works a few days a week.

What solutions do you know of in eCW for these situations?

Behavorial Health Templates

Morning,
  We’ve been using eCW for Behavioral Health services for integrated care for a few years now and are looking at modifying our templates.  We only do psychologist/therapist, not psychiatry services.

Does anyone have any amazing templates they use for this that they would be willing to share?  I would like to modify our templates to use basic SOAP features as much as possible (i.e. medical hx, social hx, etc.)

P2P Facility Registration

Anyone out there utilizing the Facility Registration feature of P2P? We are considering it for one of our clinics in order to receive CCD/CCR documents.

The setup shows a limitation of being able to select only one ‘Authorized Staff’ person that can access referrals/patient records/etc on that facility’s behalf (seems silly considering the same set up at the provider level allows up to 40 ‘Authorized Staff’ users). See attached

If you are using this functionality, how do you get around this limitation (or not)?

Provider Analytics

I have placed a ticket to eCW support and they told me no.  But I was at a UDS meeting and meet another practice that uses eCW and they told me that this could be done.  I lost the contact to the practice so I cannot contact them.  I am trying to figure out how can management get access to the provider analytics dashboard?  I have look at security access and cannot find anything.  Can someone lead me on how to get access to the provider analytics to other users?

List of Security Settings

Does anyone have a list of Security Settings or can tell me where I can find them?  I really would like to have a list with descriptions of what each does….I know too much to ask for! 
Our former IT person who prior to go live set up all of our roles, copied from one to another and people have a ton of settings they shouldn’t have.  I’ve unchecked the ones I know for sure, but would love a list to go on. 
Current issue is some of the nurses not having the ability to right click and copy and paste appts while others do and they are all in the same role.

Immunizations - No Matching NDC

Has anyone else had difficulty mapping current NDCs to vaccine lots?

We just upgraded to V11 and our nurses are having difficulty with inventory management because the appropriate NDC is not listed in the eCW lookup. I ran the content distribution and compared the list of NDCs imported to the CDC list and none of the NDCs from the CDC matched those of eCW’s content distribution.

We have a case open, but no information so far…what have others done?

v11e buttons randomly grey out

We have gone to v11e and experiencing several issues.. One is randomly the medical history , lab labels, and select scanner button are greyed out.. We clear browsing hx in chrome and clear client side cache to get the buttons back.. However it happens multiple times a day.. Has anyone had the same experience? Any suggestions? ECW has not been too helpful..

V11e - Users reset forgot passwords

Our upgrade is scheduled two weeks from now. Probably the feature I’m looking forward to the most is this feature. It has become a part time job for me unlocking and resetting user’s passwords. Can someone using this feature provide some insight as to how the feature is working, is it working as designed, bugs, etc.. If it’s not working maybe just post a crying emoji to ease my pain.

Anyone have an issue with Locked Accounts today?

We came in today with 30+ accounts locked, one of our guys reached out to eCW and they said they had implemented a new security policy over the weekend apparently where any account that had not logged in for over 90 days will now be locked. Most of these users were inactive users.

We checked back after lunch and now only about a dozen remain, and these all seem like active users. So not sure if eCW went through another update to only lock active users who hadn’t logged in for 90+ days? I didn’t read anything about this anywhere and was wondering if anyone experienced anything similar today?

EBO report to see last user log in?

Is there an EBO or other report that can be pulled to see when each user last logged in?  I run an access log report on each user individually to see last log in and always seem to find a few that haven’t logged in and left the organization and I wasn’t told.  Is there a report that would pull all users and their last log in?

Medication List

Is there a way in Current Medications List that duplicates of these medications or generic/brand can be grouped together or alphabetized?  Patients will long medications lists have duplicates and this could be a patient safety issue per one provider in my practice.  I know in the right chart panel, you can group by date or medication.  Any solutions to this?


“Package Not Enabled” in Right Chart Panel

In version 11, does everyone’s Overview tab of the Right Chart Panel look like this- with HCC RAF Scores- Package Not Enabled and HCC Gap Recommendations- Package Not Enabled appearing ABOVE Current Medications and Allergies (see attached)?  If so, seems like a marketing technique with implications for patient safety, putting relevant info on medications and allergies underneath an alert that we having paid for a feature.  At the very least it could be collapsed with no info in it, just the heading.

EPCS Implementation lessons learned?

Hi All

Anyone here willing to share lessons learned to our organization in MA who has not implemented EPCS tokens to date?
We are upgrading to V11 Q2 2019, and ideally want to be live on EPCS by the end of Q3 2019.

From conversations with other eCW practices, process seems daunting and overwhelming right from the get go.

What are your lessons learned?
What would you do different if you had the chance?
Are there any pre-requisites to consider before starting?
How did this impact workflows pre & post implementation at your practices?


Any other considerations for a 100 provider practice who work at multiple locations?

User with no access can move around in the database

Maybe Im missing something. One of our users asked me to copy her access for a new employee.  When I went to her role to see what her access is, nothing is checked off.  She has no role.  Checked the access logs and she logged in today.  I asked her what she is able to do in the system and she said she has been pulling EBO reports and making appts, accessing patients and working in the HUB.  She doesn’t log in very often.  I asked her to log out and back in thinking maybe someone just removed her access while she was logged in.  But she was still able to work with no access.  I placed a ticket and eCW asked to call me back and I guess are still trying to figure it out.  Any thoughts anyone?

open (and work in) 2 or more sessions of 10e at one time

I have never been able to open and work in 2 or more sessions at one time (I get ‘kicked out’ of one session when I work in the second session) but I have multiple users that can work in 2 or more sessions at a time. Last week, one of our users stopped being able to work in multiple sessions and had many other issues with printing, spell check, etc. suddenly not working.

Today an eCW rep showed me the plugin setting ‘Default browser settings’ and said that if we have it turned off, we can open multiple sessions. (It works!)I assume in resolving one of her other issues, eCW turned on the plug-in setting for Default Browser Settings.

Two questions - what is the purpose of having this as an option (why would anyone turn it on if it limits your access??) and what other areas in the system does it impact if we turn it off? eCW didn’t have an answer so I figured I would ask here.  cheese

I’m curious to know when folks are billing for CCM.  End of the month? Every two weeks?  Has anyone had an issue with billing CCM at the beginning of the month and TCM at the end of the month?
