Merge Issue HELP!!- eCW deletes tons of info of merged off chart- what are others doing??

Major patient safety issue and eCW refuses to respond with their best practice recommendation on how to get the data into the ‘saved’ chosen chart.
In an upgrade we took last August the document failed to be clear on how detrimental the new ‘acknowledging’ a merge was. It started warning us with a list of all the things that DONT MERGE. (SEE ATTACHMENT) The list is concerning.  We had to stop merges knowing their recommendation to ‘print the chart’ wasn’t an option (one tab was 200+ pages and it would be pdf how would all detrimental info go BACK in). And at that, it’s not even all of the items that delete out. 
Now with the most recent update last week it updated that list to also include LAB RESULTS and tons of other items that dont merge!
HOW ARE YOU ALL HANDLING THIS?
