We have been on eCW since 2005 and using Midmark ECG since 2010 or before. We are in the process of moving to the browser and our providers are having problems using the Midmark Ecg button to view the PDF of the report on Reviewed (older) Ecg’s. It doesn’t affect all users.
We have installed all of the appropriate Midmark files, have the Midmark PDF printer on Amuyani 450, have all of the correct permissions set, however User A opens the Midmark Ecg tab and gets a message about how to access the ECG by clicking Edit Test button, which can’t be done unless the order is not reviewed, but user B opens the same Ecg tab and gets the PDF. 9 out of 10 times, if user A goes back to look at it after User B produced the PDF, they can see the PDF as well.
eCW’s “normal” workflow is on the ones we don’t get the PDF on the first try, log into the .exe and fax preview the Midmark there, then that creates the PDF and it is now visible for all users in the browser.
I can’t really believe that all practices that started on the exe and moved to the browser would find this acceptable. Of course, once all Ecq’s are being done on the browser, it won’t be an issue any longer, which is what they say is part two of the fix.
