For those administering the Moderna vaccine for boosters, how are you managing the vaccine lot inventory? The same multi-dose vial can be used for the first, second, and even third primary dose (in certain circumstances) of 0.5ml as well as for the booster which is 0.25ml. The dose remaining count in the lot inventory will go out of whack when different dosage amounts are drawn.
I don’t think I’ve ever encountered an immunization/therapeutic injection (at least what we had for administering) that has a MDV with different dosage amounts being drawn.
