We found (V11.52.153.16) when an immunization is ordered from an order set, the VIS date for the ordered immunization uses the VIS date from when the immunization set up when the immunization was added to the order set.
Steps to reproduce:
Ensure that the immunization has a VIS date set in the immunization set up
Add an Immunization to an Order Set
Update the VIS date in the immunization set up
Order the immunization from the order set on a progress note.
Notice the VIS date is the original VIS date and not the updated VIS date.
Workaround:
I’ve attached my immunization on order set errors that looks for any inactive immunizations on order sets or a VIS date on the order set that doesn’t match the current immunization set up.
Run the report to identify the
Delete the immunizations from the order sets and re-add them.
eCW advised me this is an enhancement request.
