We are scheduled to upgrade to v11.52 on August 20th. The one workflow we are trying to work out is with our resident clinic sending controlled prescriptions. Our current workflow is that the appointment provider is the Resident the controlled prescription is written within the progress note, the preceptor has RX security for the resident and when the preceptor reviews the resident’s progress note the preceptor sends the controlled prescription from the note using their Token. We currently do not use the common send button because in the past it did not accommodate an easy workflow for the resident prescriptions that need to be sent by their preceptor. Does anyone else have a residency program that sends controls under the preceptor providers, if so what workflow do you use?
