We’re getting ready to make our Physician Extenders (PEs) providers in ECW, we’re doing it so that our financial reporting can be cleaner. The problem we’re running into is our PEs work with different physicians on different days. So their revenue will need to be split similarly in the reports. Since they’re seeing incident-to these physicians is there a way to differentiate whose patients the PE is seeing on the back end through eBO once they are providers?
How do other practices schedule/bill/etc. with PEs as providers when they work with different physicians?
