We went live today on v11e. There is a concurrency lock on patient demographics (and maybe elsewhere outside of the pertinent progress note windows). When I have the patient INFO open, no one else can get into that patient’s demographics. This is new a new thing. Is this a setting or something that is new that we cannot disable. We could very well have more than one person in patient demographics, as front desk is verifying or adding insurance and others need to look at the demographic or the structured data within the demographics. Users are getting a pop-up that that another user has that window locked. Anyone have the fix or a workaround? The technician looked at all settings and couldn’t figure it out and getting back to me.
Other than a few minor things, v11e go-live went well..though we only held on Saturday clinic with 4 patients.
