Good afternoon,
We have several patients that require translation services/interpreter during their visits. This number is overall relatively small but the per minute fee for pay as you go interpretation services is very costly (5.95 a minute for language interpretation and 180$ for sign language services). We are an FQHC and are required to provide these services. My question is what do other clinics do? I know google translate is a thing but I am not sure of the HIPAA security to meet compliance measures.
