We were told we must upgrade to V11 and that all issues were fixed. Now that we have upgraded, our practice alerts are broken. This has crippled our office from notifying patients of their physicals. It also prevents us from notifying them of recommended cancer screenings and followup examinations. We have entrusted this software company with our professional integrity and in return, they keep us in the dark and feed us sh!t.
ECW has always been a house of cards but it appears to be crumbling before we’ve had a chance to jump ship. We opened a ticket on this issue and were told, “It’s a known bug, fixed in a future version.” Sound familiar?
Time to look for a new EMR. I’ll be calling EMR reps today.
