Tracking TB and Staying Healthy Assessment

I was wondering what methods of tracking are the other primary care practice currently using to track annual TB questions that needs to be asked and their once every either 1 or 3 years Staying Healthy Assessment forms? Our practice have always used Dx alerts based on labs that needs to be resulted for the alert to triggered, but for this case, it’s not based on any dx code, lab, rad, immunization, etc.

So I thought, setup a patient specific alert which shows last done date and enabling the alert tab (or looking at it from the CDSS tab?) on the right chart panel so my nurses can easily see it. They would have to manually reset the dates every once a year once the patients been asked a TB question since patient specific alerts are not automatically triggered, since I can’t have it auto trigger to reset based on a structured question from the HPI.

For Staying Healthy Assessment forms, use a global alert since the front desk handles this and manually put the date that the form needs to be completed again (due date) in the notes section. It’ll pop up every time which is annoying but it shows the date that my front desk can see with only an extra click in her workflow.

How are all of you handling these 2 parts for your practice?
