Wondering if there are any other groups out there with primary care and specialty groups on the same eCW environment? My team is specifically running into issues with the following workflows, having both groups on the same environment. Any input and/or workflow suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Outgoing/Incoming Referrals - Having both PCPs and Specialists in one environment creates duplication of referrals (PCP – outgoing) (Specialty – incoming).
Sharing Problem List - PCP documents in the notes section of a diagnosis code. If a specialist populates the same assessment, it comes up with the PCP’s notes on their progress note.
Exchange of Information (Same environment, P2P, faxing) - Currently 3 pathways for sharing information, causes duplication of the medical record (i.e. progress note in progress note section and in patient document folders).
