After upgrading to V12 our users are reporting a lot freezing and system being slow. The worst part is that controlled substances continue to fail. Providers are getting frustrated with having to send medications twice or three times to get them to go. The error we see is the ” Failed(Error: The controlled prescription may have failed to eprescribe due to a Network Issue. When prompted to print the prescription, the prescriber opted to not print a physical copy by selecting ‘Do Not Print’. As a result, the prescription has been logged in the Error Queue. Please contact the pharmacy to determine if the prescription was received and review the patient record to assure follow-up actions are performed.).”
We have a case open with eCW but they can’t find a fix for it. They tell us that the connection is dropping causing the error.
