I would like to know how the resource schedule can be color-coded so I can manage the frequency and volume of certain patient encounters in my day.
Background: I am a podiatrist and I have a goodly number of patients who come to me for nothing more than nail debridement. I also have a goodly number of patients who come to me for other things. Years ago, I worked as a medical assistant in a podiatrist’s office (they used eCW) where they had color coded “palliative care” slots for the doctors that occurred once or twice an hour. That way you would not have 12 nail care patients in a row blocking out patients in need of other treatments. Likewise, if you get backed up with “sick” patients, you can make up the time with a palliative care patient mixed into the workflow.
In the attached file, you can see that my open slots the entire day on most days is yellow. Can I change certain slots to different colors?
