ACO Reach and Version 305C / V12

Hi All,

I’m sure many of you have seen the notification from eCW about the ONC decertification of all builds (except 305C, 399, v12.0.1) effective 12/31/2022.  If you’re participating in MIPS this would be a problem (though not critical due to 90 day reporting period for PI), but for ACO Reach I found the following in the RFA document (https://innovation.cms.gov/media/document/aco-reach-rfa):

Use of Certified EHR Technology ACOs shall ensure that the percentage of Participant Providers that are eligible clinicians and that use certified electronic health record technology (CEHRT) to document and communicate clinical care to their patients or other health care providers meets or exceeds the CEHRT use criterion established under 42 C.F.R. 414.1415(a)(1)(i), currently 75%. For purposes of the previous sentence, the terms “eligible clinician” and “CEHRT” are defined at 42 C.F.R. 415.1305.

The way I read this, participation in ACO Reach means you’re looking at an upgrade before 12/31/22.  Anyone else out there with the same concern?  We reached out to eCW and it seems we’re the only one with the pitchforks and torches.  I’m curious to know if perhaps I’m missing something.
