Physical Therapy “Specialty module build”

In version 12 ECW is releasing several Specialty specific progress note functions. Unfortunately at the moment Physical Therapy is not one of them, but I am working with several ECW staff to generate a Therapy specific specialty module.  I would like to gather as much input from users as possible.  I am a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopaedic clinic.

Areas of concern that I plan to address: (based on pain points our clinic has with the current solution)

-GOALS (Within Physical Therapy Assessment):  make them show up on every progress note, make them easy to input from your examination data, show progress towards goals in a tabular format (Eval, Rechecks, etc.), ability to generate templates in this area.

-Functional Outcome Measures:  Set up questionnaires or Patient Surveys that will populate the score for these measures into the progress note and create a goal

-Exercise log:  Change the hierarchy of the current structure:  (i.e. intervention type: Therapeutic exercise (97110), Therapeutic Activities (97530) etc. would be at the top of the hierarchy, then the exercise name/description.  Allow for protocols to be saved (specific to user and to public)

-Allow Scribe access to Therapeutic interventions as well as to Therapeutic Assessment, so that therapy providers can use Scribe to its fullest capacity

-Allow assistants to place a signature on progress notes.

-Have referral information embedded in progress note based on visit type selected and have it automatically assign the encounter to the referral rather than the current manual process. (automated count of visits in the authorization)

Please post any and all suggestions of what you would like to see the system do.  I will try to respond with some of the current solutions we have deployed.
For example GP and GO modifiers required for certain payers:  We have multiple CPT explosion codes built to solve this issue.
Payers only allowing an eval every 180 days (we have a billing rule engine built to solve this issue), etc.
