Our practice has two HIE’s (Commonwell and Carequaility) and we have had a few patients request to be opted out of those HIE’s entirely. Does anyone have a workflow created and if so, have you received confirmation on how this works after you opt the patient out? Does all data that was exchanged through the HIE on this patient stay in the chart after opting out or does all that information get removed after opting them out?). Any guidance on this topic is appreciated!
