Our POD was recently moved to the Azure data center after receiving assurances that the data center migrations have been successful with no issues from our SAM. Post migration, we found out the move broke our ability to use EPCS. We now understand from discussions with support and other eCW representatives that this was a known issue and a JIRA was taken in account back in September of 2021. We were also informed the latest full build (305.66) or server upgrade (16_52) would “resolve” this issue. Our EPCS issue is now considered a patient safety issue and an upgrade straight into production using the full build or server upgrade is required. I find this sequence of events to be an egregious oversight and totally unacceptable since our issue could have been prevented if eCW had communicated the known issue and offered the fix prior to our data center move. I am reaching out to the user community to see if others are experiencing this issue and inquire if the fixes were successful. We are on 11.52.153.16_19, using ADFS and it took over a year for eCW to get EPCS working in our production environment back in 2021, so we are a bit concerned eCW’s proposed upgrade will not address the issue.
