Ever since we did the NCPDP updates for e-prescribing, we have had issues (as I am sure you have, as you read this).
We are noticing now that medications sent in a style like this (90 days or 30 days, + a refill) are not coming across correctly apparently to the pharmacy. The pharmacy is not seeing this refill notation and are sending us requests for refills sometimes one or two months early. Very frustrating indeed! Has anyone else experienced this?
For reference, we are based in Minnesota and use Thrifty White, Walmart and Walgreens pharmacies primarily.
