How do users, at the time of patient contact (patient is sitting in front of you), track procedures, like colonoscopies/FIT testing?
I ask this because it is still incomprehensible to me, that such a basic function, that I believe I could have performed in BASIC thirty years ago, is STILL not available in ECW.
Yes, I can create “alerts”/“actions”/write a note in the “Secure Note” field (this is what we actually do), but this is done, by me/office staff, manually-it’s no different than when I had all-paper charts.
To me , it’s utterly ridiculous and defeats a most basic function of an EMR.
