Sending e-refills has become incredibly slow. Usually taking between 45-60 seconds after clicking send before the next one comes up. I opened a ticket with ECW but their final answer is “Surescripts changed the logic of their code causing an asynchronous call which causes the long lag time after hitting send.”
They told me they have a special team working with Surescripts on this issue, but that the problem rests with Surescripts and not ECW. The techs suggestion was for me to call Surescripts with a case number I have yet to receive.
Is anyone else experiencing this? This is adding hours of work to our staff to get through all the refills, not to mention the angry patients calling because we are not able to refill meds in a timely manner.
