Prior to creating a ticket I wanted to get other users opinion on requesting eCW to import a large amount of pharmacies into our ecw local database. I am looking to see if anyone else has had eCW import the surescripts linked pharmacies for their state into eCW in bulk. Surprisingly when he had our initial onboarding the eCW training staff that came to our location had us just import the popular cities surrounding our location we are currently at around ~2500 pharmacies in our local database. To give you an idea our state Florida shows to have around 5,000 pharmacies in the Surescripts network. I just checked and the entire US Surescripts network available in eCW shows just over 70,000 pharmacies. Have any other users had that entire list added to their database? Does it result in any performance degradation when adding pharmacies in a patients chart?
Please share if you are cloud or local hosted with your local pharmacy db size and if you have had any issues relating to it.
Would be interesting to know how many pharmacies people have in their local pharmacy database linked under tools > ePrescription > Linking Pharmacy
