eCW emailed out their patient engagement email for April today.
In this email we were notified the following;
“To enable more efficient compliance with information-blocking regulations, eClinicalWorks has introduced a setting that allows providers to make lab results available on the Patient Portal as soon as they are received, without requiring provider review. This new setting is located in Lab Settings within EMR Patient Portal Settings. If the checkbox is selected, results will be available in the PHR and Visit Summary sections of the Patient Portal upon receipt. When a provider reviews the results, the patient will receive an email notification letting them know the results are published and available in the Labs/DI section of the Patient Portal.”
I do not see the setting in v11.52.92.11, but in an environment with v11.52.93 I do.
