Date of Birth - Format Error Message

We have a user receiving the following error message when trying to add a new patient:

The following information must be entered before proceeding:
Please enter valid date of birth in the format mm/dd/yyyy.

In the example attached, the DOB is 02/07/1972. eCW does not accept that date, but if you change it to 01/01/1972 it accepts it.

Have any of you seen this before?
