Provider with duplicated SPI number

Our providers work out of two offices. Both offices are under the same NPI and Tax number. All providers only have one SPI number listed based on which site they work the most. One provider has her number listed in both locations. It is stopping her from registering her EPCS token for controlled substances. I have a ticket in but the tech was not sure if it was okay to just remove one of the numbers and keep the other so I am still on hold. She is unable to write for controls until she has her token activated. Does anyone have experience with taking out the duplicate number? Will affect both facilities or just the one I remove the number from?
