Date format in letters

I am creating a consent form (using letters) to be run from the progress note. Any tag I use for a date is formatting like this:
10/30/2020
(I am using the DOB tag and the Encounter Date tag.)

Is anyone seeing this in their letters? I am submitting a ticket but I’m sure it’s a “bug” in the system…
