E Jellybean number

For years, the number appearing in the “E” jellybean typically indicated the number of refill requests that one needed to respond to.
After an update several months ago, the number that appears now apparently is the SUM of refill requests, change requests, cancel requests, errors, etc. Why? This makes no sense! (see attached screen shot). After many support calls, nobody seems to have an answer or solution. I haven’t seen any other mention of this in the support group ? Help ??
