We are working through implementing TeleVisits, and I am curious if anyone is willing to share their lessons learned?
Specifically,
-How are patients being scheduled for teleVists? Are they requesting it themselves (via portal) or are your schedulers contacting the patient and mentioning that televisit services are offered?
-Do you have an MA or an office staff member “room” the patient (Are they calling the patient to get additional information, collect upfront fee, ect) before the patient is seen by the provider?
-What types of visits have you seen the most success with?
Lastly, is anyone in a urgent care setting using the eCW televisits successfully? The way eCW has this configured, it appears to be much more suited to established patients (IE you have to have a portal account).
