Pediatricians should have their voices heard by Ecw. I have been a loyal ecw user for 4 years and I have been to every users conference since then. I have been hopeful that Version 10 might have some of the basic requirement for decision support based on Bright Futures. I am signed up to work with a program called Chipra D in NC that is a federal grant to implement the pediatric specific EHR standards. While other big players in EHR such as Allscripts and Greenway have signed up, We have had no response from Eclinicalworks.
I would like to ask Pediatricians on this site to vote on ecwideas, as it seems this is the main input for development requests.
How do we as pediatricians get the point across that children are not little adults.
