I tried asking the clinical works helpdesk, but I have not found a solution to this.
I’m having a lot of problems with multiple alerts informing me of incorrect drug interactions and drug relationships. I’m constantly having to close these boxes. Do I have any options to stop these alerts completely? Or at least get them corrected so they are accurate?
For example, today when I tried to prescribe folic acid I got the following message:
Folic acid belongs to the same family of Adderall, Advair HFA, methotrexate, prednisone, albuterol sulfate HFA which is already on the list. Do still want to prescribe folic acid?
I am a rheumatologist so I prescribe folic acid 20 times a day. Not only that but I get constant reminders that vitamin B12 is in the same family of drugs as prednisone (which of course it isn’t). Constant alerts with incorrect information. I am so tired!
Any advice?
