Is anyone using preferred names for patients (we do for transgender patients) and would like to know if this is any better in v11 now that it’s live? We know that the Preferred Name field doesn’t carry over to all areas of eCW, which is very disappointing (labs, referrals, progress notes, resource schedule etc). Does anyone who uses the preferred name field, know or can test for me, whether it pulls over to the Portal? Right now we use “Last Name, Legal First Name PREFERRED NAME” in the patient name field. It would be nice if we could use the Preferred name field with “Last Name, Preferred Name” so it went over to the portal. Would appreciate any info.
