Messenger Failures

Hi All,

We rely heavily on SMS reminders and have noticed more and more failures. The Status/Error Msg is:

Failed-Unreachable destination handset

When you look at the patient logs, this usually happens when it is the automated SMS appointment reminders. Our custom campaigns are usually successfully. We were told by eCW it was because the patient was in an area with bad cell service.

When I informed them of the trend that I saw (custom campaigns were successful) and provided examples, they said these custom campaigns messages actually failed even though the logs said it was successful.

Has anyone here experienced this and have some insight?
