I have never been able to open and work in 2 or more sessions at one time (I get ‘kicked out’ of one session when I work in the second session) but I have multiple users that can work in 2 or more sessions at a time. Last week, one of our users stopped being able to work in multiple sessions and had many other issues with printing, spell check, etc. suddenly not working.
Today an eCW rep showed me the plugin setting ‘Default browser settings’ and said that if we have it turned off, we can open multiple sessions. (It works!)I assume in resolving one of her other issues, eCW turned on the plug-in setting for Default Browser Settings.
Two questions - what is the purpose of having this as an option (why would anyone turn it on if it limits your access??) and what other areas in the system does it impact if we turn it off? eCW didn’t have an answer so I figured I would ask here.
