workflow for reason of visit till end of encounter

Has anyone noticed what the scheduling staff enter in the REASON for visit at time of scheduling, will carry forward into chief complaint when provider enters the notes.  However if you change the CC, the reason for visit doesn’t change.  In fact there is no real connection in the reason field and the CC except it carrying forward.  The ellipses shows several options but the choices are not the same as the choices under chief complaint box.  And to carry this logic forward into the note, when provider gets to the Billing box under followup and reason, there is again no connection to the Reason under scheduling or CC. 

3 unconnected Reason for visit sections.  It would be nice if it all pulled from the same data option and interacted with each other.

eg: if I enter at the end of my note, FU 3M ; reason Asthma.  That should pull into the Scheduler screen and reason for visit.  Am I missing something?
