L Jellybean and Merged Patients

Has anyone run across the issue of a lab ordered on a patient, then the chart being merged?  eCW is claiming that a lab ordered on a chart that is then merged before the results come back will push the lab to the original chart and not show in the merged chart or be visible on the provider’s jellybean (but the L jellybean count will reflect the lab).

This is causing ghost numbers in our providers L jellybean.  eCW wants to push all the labs to the correct chart and fix the issue in the background.  We have no way to test this, as our test environment doesn’t have all the interfaces set up.

How do you test in these situations?  Has anyone had this before and received a successful fix from eCW?
