Today we had a provider report that the popup option on the examination screen was changing on its own. Upon review it turns out that this (and several other options) are saved in an XML file on whichever machine the user is on. This means that if multiple users are sharing the same machine and one of them changes the pop up setting it will change it for everyone else on that machine as well! This is especially problematic when users are connecting to terminal servers!

We only use EXE and are on V10 SP2.5.12
This popup setting issue also appears to apply to the following areas. (this is likely not a complete list). It seems to apply to any option that is not patient specific.

• Vitals (line 239)
• Current Medication – Rx Name Only (Line 232)
• Exam (line1064)
• HPI Notes Header/Footer setting (line 493)
• HPI Show popup for c/o (line 491)
Anyone else encounter this or know of a way to fix?
