Content Distribution Download Documentation

Has anyone found the documentation on the content distribution download function?

Admin>Content Distribution
I’m referring to the MVX, CVX Codes, NDC Codes, Imm Series, Lab Community, NDC Lookup, LOINC, etc

I haven’t seen anything that advises me when we as an organizations should performing the download.

Where should I be looking to know when a download is available and will be providing new content?

PDMP in V11 (Appriss)

Anyone using the PDMP product in V11 yet? (Appriss Narxcare controlled substance report query)

Curious to see if it allows RN’s/MA’s to run the query while rooming the patient.

Also wondering if logging is working as expected.

Covering Provider - Not showing name on refill scripts

Dr. John is covering refills for Dr. Jane. Dr. John selects his name from the ‘covering’ drop down and sends the refill response (approved). Dr. Jane’s name is still on the refill response as if she sent it.

Staff seem to be certain that before our V11 upgrade it showed the covering providers name on the script. I went back in the prescription log Documents > eprescription > filtered to refill response, and couldn’t find an instance where it showed the covering providers name on a script.

eCW is clueless but it’s possible I’m not explaining the situation clearly.

Patient Green on S Bean

The S Jelly bean has one patient which is green. This is since upgrading to V11 over the weekend.

Can anyone tell me what/why this patient is highlighted in green? (Patient names redacted for obvious HIPAA reasons, but you can still see the green highlighting.)

I get asked all the time about giving ‘read only’ access to auditors or interns, etc, and in case I missed something over the years, is there a setting to allow for ‘Read Only’?

training tips for going to 11e from 11exe

We are planning to gradually transition to 11e over the next couple months.  What are your best tips for training?

I’ve been using 11e for several clinical sessions over the past few weeks and have pages of notes and questions on where to find things, how to do them differently. 

I’ve watched some of the eCW University videos (based on 10e, created 3 years ago I think?) and they are helpful for orienting to the new locations of some things, but not all.

How did your practices approach training current 11exe users on 11e?

Does anyone know the details and how it will impact ordering any CT or MRI on a Medicare patient?
Apparently providers will have to pay for a licensed clinical decision support tool “consultation” in order for Nedicare to cover imaging.  And if I’m correct,  Medicare’s site does not list ECW has having a certified clinical decision support tool that qualifies.

S Jellybean View Modification in Web Version 11e

How can we adjust the column width in S Jellybean view of the web version?  You know how you do in excel.

Also,

Can I disable text wrapping in the “reason” column so the the row height remains fixed as in the client version?

Unable to access Allergies & Medical History

Have any other practices had issues with attempting to access the allergies and/or medical history section of the progress note today?

Currently, our entire practice freezes when trying to access either.

During the keynote at the Users Conference in 2018 they were talking about Aunt Bertha integration in eCW.
We are scheduled for a demo in the near future.

Has anyone turned on this functionality ?
If so can you share the good, the bad, and the ugly?

EClinicalTouch Documents issues

We can no longer sign documents in eClinicalTouch. Documents take 30-60 seconds to load if it doesn’t time out. We’ve opened tickets and got their BS line of “this is a known bug and will be fixed in a future version.” This after condescending our female office manager and telling her to “calm down and listen” so they could tell her that her workflow was wrong (she doesn’t touch documents).

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues or if we need to double back on tech support.

Provider complaining that assessments are being auto-alphabetized

One of my providers says that no matter what order he enters his dx codes or reorders them, they automatically alphabetize.  Is this a user setting?  Mine are not automatically alphabetizing or reverting back to an order after I reorder them.  Suggestions appreciated.

Role Base security issue

I have had two users that when we changed them from FRONT Office to Nurse/MA the system will not display the vitals they entered on the progress note.

Nothing I tried worked.

I can log in on their machine and it works for me.
They can log in on my machine and vitals do not appear on the note.

I have changed their security settings again and nothing.

I have rebooted, nothing.

One user could not all day and then the next day, she could.

Strange…any insight would be appreciated.
She is in urgent care today and well, she needs to enter vitals.

Statement Facility Address - where is it generated (causing problems with surescripts)

Our billing companies address is different than our clinic addresses and they went in and changed the addresses under File > Facilities. This supposedly caused some of our providers eprescriptions to malfunction because the address didn’t match Surescripts.

At one point I was told the addresses for Surescript were pulled from Pecos so those had to match. Didn’t know the Facilities address had to match. Anyone have any experience with this?

Does the facility address for statements pull from File > Facilities (Facilities list)?

EMR - treatment screen / medications / Rx—> “Pop Up” box is permanent clicked and grayed out

On the Rx prescription screen when you click the prescription it opens a window that shows the dose, directions, days, tabs, refills screen…

Before 2 weeks ago we had the option to click the option to have the “Pop Up” window open or we could select the option to unclick it and manually type in the prescription directions, etc.

Now the Pop Up box is permanently checked and grayed out so we cannot change the option.

Does anyone know how to make it an option to have the Pop Up window or not (i.e. allow us to unclick that box)?
