New to 10e and creating providers’ schedules

Have worked in v10 several years and now working in 10e.  Getting used to the new look and behavior, but so far liking it.  One question I do have is, trying to set up a provider schedule for a provider who works Monday - Thursday and then every 3rd Friday and Saturday.  The eCW trainer that came to train at this new practice said that the only way to build this schedule is to build every Friday and Saturday and add block to the ones the provider is not working.  Seems crazy to me.  I have to be able to build every 3rd Friday and Saturday only, right?  Could do it in v10.  Thanks for any help.
