appearing and disappearing I jelly bean

Has anyone had this ‘I’ jelly bean appear then disappear in their eCW?  The error message"Run-time error ‘91’ Object variable or With block variable not set”.  The I bean itself has an X inside of it instead of a number and it is lit yellow.  In MY SETTINGS the ‘I’ jelly bean is unchecked and it still appears.
