A week ago I just started seeing a new popup when I open any progress note. It asks “Do you want to carry forward the current medication(s) for PATIENT NAME visit dated VISIT DATE AND TIME” but with the actual patient name and date/time. This happens not just for future appointments, but when you open the chart for the current day’s appointments.
I think something may have gotten upgraded recently, but it doesn’t look like we made the jump to sp2.5.12 (since the medical history still automatically carries forward). So, I don’t know what is causing this, but it is annoying.
I know there are some settings about carrying forward things, but I couldn’t find anyone referencing this popup in the forum. Can someone explain why this popup is happening and how to disable it? Thanks!
Also as a side note, how can you check what version you are on? Help > About eClinicalWorks does not show the version, and even clicking “Version Info” does not show me the version. You can’t make this stuff up.
