We are a large, multi facility, multi specialty organization in two eCW databases. We are slowly transitioning to Web and have a question on how others are handling Imm/Inj Favorites.
I have discovered that users cannot set their own Favorites! eCW built this as a EMR/Configure Categories/Misc Configuration which requires the Admin to build and maintain. Injections and Immunizations are listed separately in Configure Categories so I would have to build twice for each user. I have over 700 users in 19 different practices and each has their own set of injectables!
Additionally, when looking at how this section is built, the list of injectables to select from includes Active and Inactive injectables so I have to scroll, scroll, scroll through pages of items that no longer apply and should not even be offered. (SIGH) A terrible design by eCW IMO.
How are other offices out there handling this?
