Scanned Documents scanning too large

We are experiencing issues where the document scanners are scanning the document at a very large size.
We use Canon Scanners,  2010C , C130 and C140.

For example.
If I scan document using the 2010c 200DPI   -  it’s size is 124KB
If I scan same document using the C130 all same settings, (from another user’s computer)  the size is 6.2MB

  This has become an increasing issue as they are scanning in some that are 14MB to 20MB. 

ECW says talk to your IT…  my tech guys says it’s ECW. 

I have unloaded and reloaded everything ,  updated drivers,  still the same issues. 

Any Ideas?
