We have a provider who uploads images in his progress note for things like skin rashes, etc, and he does a really good job at it. He uploads them under the Examination window in the progress note.
The only issue we’ve noticed is that these images uploaded from the examination window are getting added to the Telephone Encounters folder in the pts docs, when they should be added to the Chart Notes folder instead. If you move the image from the TE Folder to the Chart notes folder, it disappears from the PN, and if you put it back into the TE folder, it appears again.
I found out if you add an image from the examination window, it will always go to the tele encounters folder, but if uploaded through the scan button at the very bottom of the PN, it goes into the Chart Notes folder perfectly.
I chatted with support and they said they can remap it to upload to the Chart Notes folder, and to put in a ticket, so I did, but the tech says otherwise, and that they can’t map it to the chart notes folder…
I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or anyone experienced this before.
