We’ve run across another small “issue” in v11 that I haven’t had much luck working around. Our medical staff informs me in the old version they could tag sulfa as a structured allergy. Being rheumatologists this was important because many of our patients have a sulfa allergy.
“Sulfa” is no longer an option, they can only choose from MultumRX. So they have been putting it in as non structured. Ive spoken to physicians about tagging one sulfa drug such as sulfadiazine but they don’t believe this is a good work around.
I haven’t opened a ticket as it seems this is the way the system was designed, the user guide specifically says when selecting structured allergies users are only allowed to select from the Medispan/Multum database.
Wondering if anyone else has ran into this and what (if anything) you did for a work around?
