Is there a way (rule engine, etc) to automatically create a TE, Action Item, etc when a lab comes is marked abnormal? I found ways to write a Clinical Rule Engine rule, that will trigger when you click on ‘treatment’ or when you are on the Appointment screen, but frequently those lab results don’t come in for a week or so, and the progress note is already locked (so we’re not going back into the treatment section of the note, or through the appointment again.
Looking for something that triggers from marking the lab as reviewed with abnormal results.
