Healow Basic App and Patient Medications

I had a patient call yesterday to say she could not see her medications on the Healow App. 

I spoke with the tech today.  Version 5.4.2 of the app requires you to open the Admin, Portal Settings, and change the refills requests to SHOW.

What?  We train our patients to call their pharmacy when they need a refill of a medication so it comes through the ejellybean, not a TE.  In addition, since we have pharmacies on site, we also have an option for patients to request refills through our website, that go directly to our internal pharmacies so they can initiate the ejellybean.

And what do refill requests have to do with showing a patient medications on the portal!

Please do not make me use a functionality I don’t WANT to use in order for patients to simply view their medications on their patient portal!!!

To me this is a HUGE patient safety issue!!!!  Medications lists should be available for patients to share with other providers!
